Ann Tighe - Director of CAYSH Enterprise CIC and Chief Executive of CAYSH charity
Ann is a qualified social worker with a wealth of experience in public, voluntary and private sector social care service delivery.
Commencing her career in social services and working with young people in the youth justice system, Ann gained precisely the kind of experience that made her so passionate about our service users and our work – and attractive to Nacro.
Ann spent 17 years at Nacro where she championed support for the most vulnerable in society to help change their lives and to reach their potential by addressing social exclusion, inequality of opportunity and deprivation. She crafted national policy and latterly was Assistant Director of Community and Criminal Justice Operations. In recent years Ann also gained invaluable commercial experience working in the private sector with G4S heading up their bidding department.
Armed with her wealth of experience as a qualified Social Worker and in senior management in the voluntary and private sectors, Ann took up the helm at CAYSH in June 2016 determined to further our work helping young people to overcome homelessness to become sustainably independent and enjoy fulfilling lives.
Eddie McIlroy - Director of CAYSH Enterprise CIC and CAYSH charity
Hi, I'm Eddie. I have been working with CAYSH for over 17 years now, and 6 years of those heading up the concierge service. My career up until and since joining CAYSH has been in supported housing, working with survivors of domestic violence and street homeless.
I started out on the front line as a supported housing officer, and later became involved in mobilisation, initiating CAYSH’s Service User Involvement Programme and then launching new projects and services across Sutton and Croydon.
I developed CAYSH’s concierge model in 2010, for a discreet supported housing service. It was incredibly successful and the service became a Community Interest Company to take on the demand from our external partners and local authorities.
I am, of course, very proud of this service and the excellent team that has developed over the years. Our front line officers provide a people-centred service that is second to none and the management team have passionately enabled our stable growth, whilst maintaining excellent standards.
CAYSH Enterprise CIC has two further Directors, Bob Sleight and Mick Williams, that sit on the Board of Trustees in CAYSH.
Mikala Ayres - Talent and Resourcing Manager
I am Mikala Ayres, Talent and Resourcing Manager for CAYSH and for CAYSH Enterprise, CIC. Since 1987, I have worked in Human Resources and training for various organisations, both in the commercial and charity sector, including Age Concern and Scope. I look after ‘people’ issues, the Learning and Development for the team. In the wider scope of the business, I support Eddie with the strategic aims of the CIC and Operations in building strong and robust teams that are skilled and successful. The people and the challenges of working with such a big and dynamic team are what I enjoy most in my role within the CIC: the dedication and skills of its people and the type of support we offer is as unique and individual as the people we employ.
Niamh Dunne - Business Performance and Systems Analyst
Hello there! I’m Niamh. I have been working for the CIC for 3 years now, working mainly with Eddie to create HR and administration systems, operational processes, developing the marketing, communications and business strategy, and project management. For the last 12 years, I have worked in the non-profit and community development sector and studied development, NGO and project management. I really love working for the CIC as the team is incredibly dynamic, our standards of service are set very high and maintained by our Director and we all believe in the service, as it protects and supports residents ethically, whilst creating safer communities around us.
Jeremy Hime - Business Development Manager
Vernese Lorde - Business Support Officer
Greetings, my name is Vernese. I have been working in Administration for over 30 years now and 4 with the CAYSH Concierge service. The service is special as we cater for and protect people who are in need. My role within the team is a varied and interesting one; my main responsibilities are Office Management, HR and Payroll and anything in between.
Apart from working with some fantastic people, there is never a dull moment in the office or in the service as a whole!
